I hope you're having an awesome yuletide and I just want to thank you so much in advance! I know I will absolutely love whatever you create and I really just hope you have fun with this.

Here are a couple things that I like and my squicks and below that I have some prompts, but you can take them or leave them. The Luminaries

Winnie Wednesday and Jay Friday

Okay, I'm going to introduce this fandom and characters because it is tiny. As of September 28th 2023 there are no existing fics for the Luminaries and it did not have any canonical tags for the fandom.

The Fandom: So if you're a fan of the Witchlands series by Susan Dennard then you might know about the misadventures of Hive Mind Winnie parts 1 and 2. For those who don't know this is still pretty much a brand new fandom. The book only came out last year and it wasn't going to be a book at all. The Author, Susan Dennard, did this choose your own adventure twitter poll kind of event and it was meant to be just a fun little exercise, but Dennard ended up taking two of the characters of the event created a whole new series surrounding them and the world she created in the twitter event but while the world/universe is the same the plot of the book and the depth of the characters go above and beyond.

Needless to say, I'm in love with this book and as I am writing this the second book in the series is set to be published soon and I cannot wait! But please know I do not expect you to add anything in from the twitter events. Those are really long threads and it would be unfair to nominate the book and expect the Event Poll so please do not kill yourself treking through twitter especially since Book Winnie and Jay aren't carbon copies of the Twitter Event.

Speaking of which, here's a little more about the characters

Winnie Wednesday - the main character and a chaotic but stubborn and hardworking bean. Her family was made to be "outcasts" because her father allegedly betrayed their entire society. Even though the rest of Winnie's family are innocent they weren't spared from that damning sentence. No one has seen her father since.

Jay Friday - excuse me for quoting the book description here because I honestly do not know if me describing "Ugh Jay" (affectionately) Friday will do him justice "Jay Friday, resident bad boy and Winnie's ex-best friend. While Jay might be the most promising new hunter in Hemlock Falls, he also seems to know more about the nightmares of the forest than he should. Together he and Winnie will discover a danger lurking in the forest no one in Hemlock Falls is prepared for."

Hopefully these prompts will lend themselves to either shippy or more gen prompts depending on your comfort level. Though I will say I will always take shippy prompts of these two :3

For this nomination it would be interesting to see an exploration into Winnie and/or Jay's character and especially their relationship with each other, with their world, and where the two meet.

Seeing the lost years between Winnie's dad disappearing to the events of the beginning of the book
Will Winnie and Jay have a real deep discussion about the lost years?

For something a little more action packed...

How about Monster Hunting Mission! It can take place in their hometown or maybe they're sent to a different forest
Or if you wanna do something in centered around the holidays that would be awesome too
And on that note I'm always a sucker for a good AU basically??? I am so easy when it comes to this. I will take any and all food.

For something more spooky...

So what about Jay then? He has some sort of a secret maybe relating to werewolfism? :3
Is his secret the real reason for why he avoided Winnie for all of those years? Not because she's an outcast but because of his own demons?
(Bonus points if you feel like making him a werewolf or shifter of somekind)
Also, at the ends of the book hooo things are really revving up in the spooky department. Especially in concerns within the higher-ups in the community and the framing of Papa Wednesday.

And for something a little saucy...

Training sessions,,, how intense do they get? >:3c

Sky High

Warren Peace and Layla Williams

I have had a fondness for this movie since the day I saw it. However, like with everything I love I want more! More in particular when it comes to Warren and Layla's relationship. While it would be really cool to see these two in a romantic relationship together I would be perfectly happy seeing an exploration of their friendship as well. The movie gave them this certain chemistry that really lent itself to being something deeper than a surface level friendship and I would be thrilled seeing the two of them being close.

Gen Prompts:

Canon Adult Heroes, and they have to do a mission together!
Any little holiday moments, or like maybe just them grabbing some Chinese Food as a nod to when the became friends, something sweet and simple can go a long way with them
Them any age, any world! aka AUs! As I have said I love AUs so if you wanna go completely wild and your muse is pointing you in a direction? Go for it! Anything from shippy to platonic; Humor to Horror it's all yours!

Shippy prompts!

Fake Dating!
So with this, I’d prefer if this was aged up into adulthood just because enough time will have passed for things to get muddied up. (I have some idea about how this could start out for them but as always these are just a jumping off point if you need it. You can mix and match or ignore them altogether.)

An example could be Fake Dating for Public Relations etc.. like: Why are they fake dating? Do they both have feelings? Do they slowly fall for each other? Are one pining and the other one gaining feels? And why on Earth are they popping up now?
Or you could go in a different direction entirely like maybe one helps the other out because of a bad breakup, and the media is everywhere? A photo was taken, and the world assumed, so they just rolled with it?
Is it for a cover on a mission, and they have to deal with the emotional fallout?

The Gilded Series by Marissa Meyer

Gild, Serilda Moller, The Erlking

I really loved Meyer's the Lunar Chronicles which imho lends itself to more of a scifi fairytale retelling where as this is much more fantastical retelling and oh my god. This series is so dark and everything I ever could have asked for! With this one? Go dark, go as dark as you want and I know I said I like Happy Endings, but I can see how this particular fandom doesn't lend itself to that so if this is where your muse takes you I totally get it. Seriously, you can go as dark as you want however, I still hope you not include elements of Non-Con. Also, even though I picked all the nominated characters in my request sheet, but I will be totally okay if I receive a gift that only has Gild.

That being said here are some prompts if you're not quite sure where my comfort levels are with the angsty darkness then don't worry about it I will love whatever you come up with!

Since this is already of a fairytale retelling hell go crazy with it! Go with an AU if you'd like. Any AU and if you wanna include a "what if" universe that either takes a lighter or darker tone to the original source material, that would be fine.
